I have a 2004 Nissan Sentra, just got it 3 wks ago. Starting Trouble?

When the car is still warm, has not been off for too long, it gives me trouble starting. I have to try 1 or 2 times and sometimes it starts and then dies right away. When it is cold, in the morning or after 8-9 hours at work it starts up over 90% of the time just fine. The mechanic at the shop could not duplicate the problem and found nothing wrong. I read that it could be the crankshaft sensor. Any help to tell my mechanic would be appreciated.

I checked it out got a VHR and knew what I was doing. Not to sound rude but if you were going to not be answering my question at ALL why did you respond!?

If holding the accelerator pedal to the floor (computer clear flood mode) helps start a hot engine quicker, then the engine's probably flooded with fuel. If so, have your mechanic do a fuel pump "leak down" test. Maybe you have injectors leaking fuel into the engine.
