I have a 2006 Chev Trail Blazer that has a loud whine or hum when I use the

gas. Any ideas how to stop it? It doesn't whine sitting in park or neutral just in drive when it receives gas.

it proly has a whole in the exhaust sytem so when u give it gas more exhaust flows through the system or it could be a bad injector/valve

Most likely could be the idol pulley, worse case scenario would be the internal cam bearing. The idol pulley will show too much play when it's in idol. When car is in gear, it whines and hums indicating that the bearing may be going bad. To determine if it's the cam bearing, mechanic needs to see it.Hope this helps
