I have a 99 Lexus Gs400. My car starts but it soundslike it doesnt want to....

...is battery going bad? It starts but not like it used to. it sounds alot weaker. do i need a new battey. i figured that if the alternator where bad the battery would have been completly dead buy now seing how its been about two weeks since this had been happing. sometimes it starts with no problem and sounds completely normal

its probably some broken teeth on the starter
