i have a acer blue ray laptop 6930g and a sansumg 22" lcd?

when i use the hdmi cable from the laptop top to the lcd ijust get (mode not supported ) it happens all the time it just wont work ive tried with other hmdi cables so its not that also it works fine on my 37" sansumg lcd so why wont it work on the 22" lcd , thanks
 
It is somewhere in your graphics card's settings. The LCD probably does not accept some resolutions. You must change this within the graphics card's settings.
