I was told about a screen shot on this phone and when I do the steps, it only shows me the 'recent apps used' option. I can't seem to take a screen shot at all.
If your phone is on Ice Cream Sandwich (Android version 4.0.x ... check in Settings > About Phone) or later, you can use Power + Volume Down to take a screenshot. If you don't have Ice Cream Sandwich, your manufacturer has to add it manually and might not have done so with that particular phone.
