I have dsl (AT&T), do you need to called them so you can have wireless internet?

I have a linksys router 2.4 GHz Wireless -G with speed booster.
I know that im putting the right cables in there correct sockets and i keep getting a Error 322 its says that i didn't connection correctly.

So do i need to call my dsl company (AT&T)???
