Just sync your pictures selection to a different file, one without photos... hope that helps?

When you plug the ipod onto the pc it will pop up with itunes. Click on the name of your ipod and it will bring up some tabs where you can check applications ect that are on. One says photos delete from there.

you do not manage anything on the ipod itself you use ITUNES to manage the ipod - the ipod is a slave device to the itunes.

just click on the ipods settings when connected to itunes then clcik on the photo's tab and tell itunes what you want to do with the pictures then on sync the ipod will do what its told to!
