I mailed them about this story: http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ai41WdVpARNc75dHRSl.TX0gBgx.;_ylv=3?qid=20100614045818AAYaUrN

But I'm not sure whether to go through with it or not for several reasons.
Firstly, I am only 14 years old, and I feel stupid talking to professional adults.
Secondly, I'm scared that I will get in trouble for it. I don't want to get sued!?
And thirdly, the person who says they are friends with artist, I have never met them in person. And I'm worried they may be making it up. But it seems like an awful lot of trouble to go to just to make one person believe you are friends with a celeb.

Any advice? Or opinions? ANYTHING???
As far as im concerned. The story is 100% true. I just had some doubts. As I said, I don't know him personally. So I don't really care. I'd love to go into journalism, and you need to be brutal. You can't worry about hurting people's feelings. But I don't think I'll take it any further as I don't really know what I'm getting myself into.
They're not my friend :L And yes, I am only interested in the money. I'm not gonna lie. I don't give a damn if you think I'm greedy :L I probably am, doesn't change how i view the situation though. Free. Money.

I think that you should be 100% sure on your facts before you go ahead with this. You could be putting someone's reputation in serious jeopardy over mere speculation. Don't take your friend's word for this. People make up stories for all kinds of reasons, even they may even believe them to be true themselves. Unless you have been in the presence of this girl and this celebrity then you cannot present anything as being fact. It is merely speculation and you could find yourself in trouble.

Anyway, what sort of a person would want to sell out their friend anyway? Stop being so greedy, that's all this is. You are not concerned about the supposed moral issue here, you are only after money. Also, have you considered that The Sun are probably not allowed to pay funds to a minor? What sort of precedent would it set. I think you are dealing in things that you really shouldn't be.

Forget the whole thing. When the paper realises you age they will probably withdraw anyway. You are not of age to be able to sign any documents confirming the story as true. You are not even sure if it is true. Go off and find something else to do with your life apart from splitting on others.
