I have my period, but am supposed to go on huge trip?

So my friend invited me on this HUGE ski and swimming trip tomorrow for two nights, three days. The problem is today there was some spotting. What do I do? I'm in 8th grade so not everyone has gotten their periods yet and it'll be embarrassing? How should I hide my tampons etc...? HELP PLEASE
There's about 10 of us going, 6 girls and 4 guys maybe 5 guys, not sure yet..
 
Just tell your friend. I'm sure she'll understand. I'm in the 8th grade and like everyone has had their period. Just tell her and maybe you guys could hang and and still have a good time.

Also if you want to you could put pads/tampons in your ski coat pocket. That's what I do. When you go to the bathroom take them out and use them. Bring pleanty incase you run out.
 
well having your period shouldn't be embarrising !
its part of growing up and all girls get it so if they are your friends they will understand but if yournot comfertable with the situation then hide them and flush them!
