I had a cocktiel, named Spike. He was a healthy, happy, and loving bird. He was, I guess you could say, a part of the family. One day he fell behind a shelf that holds movies and DVDs. He seemed fine, but when he tried to fly, he couldn't. He still cuddled with my mom, who was like his other half (Spike was her companion), for about the rest of the day. The next day, he started acting weird, then he went into his cage, and he fell over and lost control of his whole body. He died at about 10:00, after shaking sometimes when he tried to move his body. It was so sad.
I also want to know why he sometimes bit at my sister, brother, and me, but then sometimes he would whistle and be loving to us?
Oh, and if you could give me information about why he died, that'd be great.
I mean, I miss him so much. It's weird not hearing him tweet when I get home from school. It's so sad. :-(
Oh, and my mom he never acted mean around. He was loving, followed her around everywhere, and loved her very mutually.
