I have the 2nd LG CHOCOLATE! i have questions... any VERIZON WORKERS out there?

i have had it for a year. i have never gotten it wet or dropped it or anything like that. my phone is getting to be ery slow. the screen turns to a solid purple sometimes, it gets really slow. it freezes up. and i will have like 3 bars and it will turn off which is annoying. and the vibrating buttons are reacting slower by the day. i have not even had the phone for a year. probably like 10 months. why is my phone doing this???i take good care of it? please help. it is not major, just it is really annoying and unusual.
 
well, i don't work at verizon, but i have the same phone and sometimes it does similar things to that. sometimes it just needs a break turn ur phone off often, and donn't leave it on charage when it says charge complete, take it out immediatley
