i have the sprint Rumor phone, do i need the internet to send and recieve pics?

I have the spint rumor phone and ppl send me pics but they dont show up anywhere on my phone that i can find. So do i need the internet to recieve pics?? do i need it to send them??
 
No you shouldn't need internet...it usually sends as a text message/picture message so if you have texting you SHOULD have picture messaging...but you might want to check with Sprint to make sure your Picture messaging isn't blocked for some reason.
