I have a Sony Surround Sound system with DVD Player. This is connected to my television via a component cable which runs through the wall. I would like to replace the Sony surround system with a Home Theatre Receiver that will push all my content through the component cable. I would like to also attach a gaming Console and the internet to the Home Theatre Receiver. Since the cable runs through the wall and would be very expensive to replace, is it possible to buy an affordable receiver that I could use with the component cable? And, if so, what features should I be looking for when I buy?
