We are doing a creative response, but for some reason it's not a response to anything! So we've watched a variety of movies including Adaptation, and I've decided to use the swamp in that scene as the scene in my story, as the teacher said we could use any of the stuff we've watched in class as inspiration. My rough plot line is a girl has a box of ashes in her hand, of either her baby daugher or her baby sister, I haven't decided yet, and the story explores her inner emotion and conflict and the relief she feels once she's finally said goodbye. I only just thought of the idea, but my teacher needs a draft tomorrow so it's best if I just run with a simple idea and expand once I the teacher comments. Thanks for the advice in advance!
