I just bough gnc creatine monohydrate and it has brown stuff?

i had boughten a bottle from a differetbrand about 8 months ago and the creatine was all white but this gnc creatine had white powder and like brown powder in it. does anyone know what it could be? the bottle says its pure creatine but i had never seen brown powder in creatine
