I just bought a blackberry off of my friend. att. i also have a att razor but...?

k so i put it my razor sim card
(ATT) into a blackberry 8800 also a att phone.

how come my blackberry won't read the sim? it says no signal or just keep searching for network. help please!

It should not have to be unlocked if both phones are ATT. You might need some tech assist from Att on this. Call them. Some companies won't let you have certain phones if you don't have the internet package that goes with it. I know ATT won't let you use an iPhone without the internet, maybe it's the same for Blackberry?
