Do you have to use the first morning urine or can I just wait and hold my bladder ? How accurate is the test ? I know its just for fun . I Am 13 weeks BTW ( : I'm So Excited ! I can't wait any longer! Did it work for you ?

Lmao, you wasted your money, girl.

I tried one of those when I WASN'T pregnant just for laughs and it said I was having a girl.

There's a 50/50 chance it'll be right. There's also a 50/50 chance it'll be wrong.

The only way you'll know is through an ultrasound. Seriously. That junk is a waste of money and it's just making a guess. Your pee doesn't tell you the gender of your baby. Use your noggin.

EDIT: Last year, my friend had three of them as a gift from someone. She wanted to see if it only worked if you were pregnant, or if it was just a guess. Since it showed a result for me (not being pregnant) it was obviously just a guess.

EDIT#2: Geeeeez, sorry for telling you all the TRUTH that the stupid test is a load of bullshit. If you wanna give me thumbs down for giving you CORRECT information, go for it.

it says you should use first morning urine, and they say to be over 90% accurate but i know that its been wrong on a few occasions i took 1 at 10 weeks and it says girl so i will find out at 16 week scan if baby is boy or girl

i heard about those. i read online that they are about 80% accurate. but don't go buy a bunch of baby stuff until you get your ultra sound.lol. good luck!

oh, if you have PCOS, it will always default to a boy.

I actually just posted a very similar question then saw yours. The tests say they can be used after 6 weeks. My friend Kelly took one at 8 weeks and at 12 weeks and both times it said a boy, and it was right, she had a baby boy in June.

To the person who answered before me, those tests are like $30-$40 why the hell would you take one if you weren't pregnant????
