the first time i've heard of 2012 its not the first time i've heard of 2012 being a year where the world supposedly ends, i know that the center of the galaxy lines up with something and its all weird but why does that mean the end of the world can someone break it down for me to why this certain alignment is supposed to mean doom
its rarely happend i think the last time it happened was 13000 years ago or something haha

That will have absolutely no effect on the Earth. Just like the last million times it happened. No effect.

Tip of the day – read some real science and stop making a fool of yourself.

I bet you were just knee-high to a Kangeroo’s bum at the the turn of the millenium (judging by your juvenile question). There were all these prediction about disaster, including supposed Nostradamus predictions for “the end of the age”. And nothing happened.

Have a look at Nostradamus’ quatrains (I bet you don’t even know what a quatrain is). Anyway, they are just a load of rambling garbage. Idiots like fortune tellers can interpret the lines any one of a million ways.

Hey, if someone can read the future in tea-leaves, just think what they can do with Nostradamus’ meaninless drivel.

One day you’ll grow up and laugh at this stuff.

And by the way – this is a science forum. It is no place for superstitious nonsense.
