...police academy to join? We are a very small town with 6 police officers total and the town north of us has 0 which means 1 or 2 of ours patrol that area. If i want to join either one will i have to go to the police academy? or will they train me themselves?
 
Doesn't matter the size of the force, you will always have to go to the academy for eight weeks to become certified.
