I lost my cell phone, is it possible to gps on it to locate it?

can anyone tell me if its possible to triangulate my cell phone. It's a lg u 300... this kinda phone -> http://www.conita.com/files.php?file=aaa_784048943.jpg.

are there any web sites where they can track it down by gps. I really need to find it before my mom finds out i lost it.
