it's about an officer at war and he is going to betray his people by killing who is supposed to be saving in order to gain recognition and such but because it's supposed to be like a greek tragedy i need it to tie with fate and the supernatural and i thought a prophecy made by a woman on the street to him would be the best, the prophecy will be made when he is still being good and is yet to betray his people. any help would be appreciated! :)
oh and i want it to be sort of ambiguous...like he takes it another way sort of like oedipus' or macbeth's?

Go ahead and write the scene where he betrays his people; include enough interesting detail to create an entire prophecy from. Then go back and use details from the scene you just wrote in the prophecy. Make sure to keep things vague in the prophecy, so that readers can still be surprised when the prophecy comes true.
