I need a veggie side dish for Thanksgiving?

Something different (not green bean casserole or the ilk). Can anyone give me suggestions? I don't mind a more involved recipe, bring it on! (serious cooks only, please)
C.M.C- great idea, but I have a carrot hater here.

Please -again- not the usual sides.
 
Tharnpfe, I did partially steamed carrots, then tossed in a hot skillet with unsalted butter, and honey.
