I’m in love with this really pretty, really nice girl at school. We’ve been friends since 5th grade and we share so many things. Recently, our behavior has scaled to somewhat perverted levels (and she has told me that she’s bisexual); she calls me her wife and says she’s my husband. She’s constantly telling my how adorable I am and is pointing out certain things about me that she likes. She holds my hand at lunch and links our arms together a lot. We share books, internet videos, tv shows, and spend a lot of time together. I know for a fact that I at least like her in a romantic sense (since I have dreamt of her before), but I’m so oblivious that I can’t tell whether she’s flirting with me or if she’s just being a friend.

She’s also moving schools next year while I’m staying behind, and I have a sickening feeling that we’ll lose contact unless I do ask her out. I won’t be able to see her as much, and just that in itself kills me. Not only that but, the real kicker is that her parents are psycho-Christians, and they really hate my fucking guts. But she's been my best friend since 5th grade, and I'm not sure if I should ruin such a great friendship with a question like "Will you be my girlfriend?"

Basically, my questions are: Should I ask her out or leave our relationship on a friendly level? And: Is she flirting with me or is she just acting as my friend?

Wait, you're a girl right? Amanda? You never mention your sexual orientation.... but if you like her sexually then go for it!
