I Need Help Finding An Ideal Town I Have In My Mind! Can You Help?

I'm thinking a mountainous, lush, woodland areas. In America and preferably somewhere in Washington. It needs to rain a lot and be very misty. It also needs to founded in the very early 1800's! This town NEEDS to be real. It could be like Forks from Twilight? Please help!

Check out a map...Or read up on the history of an area. Personally, I prefer fictional towns when I am writing something that took place a long time ago. This way it saves you from having to be historically accurate!
