I need help with a BMW 525i...?

I have this BMW 2007 525i with luxury package...and I was wondering if i can somehow have the navigation features of BMW without paying $5000 for the FULL navigation from BMW.

the reason why i wanted a built in gps is that i heard that the government will ban GPS devices on the dashboard of cars...because it causes distractions...so if i buy the navigation dvd from bmw, it wouldn't work? :D

I suggest going to your local best buy or something of that nature and getting a Tom Tom and mounting it onto your windscreen
