I lost my Motorola Rokr E8 phone, and I want to use my uncles old Sony Ericsson W580i phone. I am using T-mobile and the W580i was used on AT&T. When i insert my sim card into the phone all it says is to insert smartchip. Is there something that i am forgetting? Or is there a way around this? Thanks in advance and thanks for your help.
