i've asked this before and i really need serious answers...the answers ive been given are either based on religious beliefs and Scientology, but idk which to believe...i need help

Ok so I've been having, i guess what you would call night terrors and i wanna know what people's opinions might be on this. this is no joke, nd i seriously want real answers...ok so i live with my bf nd he wakes up at 4:00 in the morning to go to work, and i always wake up wit him nd i fall asleep after he leaves...so whats been happening is when im sleeping alone my room, i have these creepy events happening to me....

one night i felt as if my eyes were slightly open, nd i had this feeling as if someone else is in the room. i seemed to think that its still my bf but i then caught myself nd thought, wait he left to work already, nd with my eyes slightly open, i thought i saw him sitting on the bed next to me looking at me, i tried getting up but i felt as if something was holding me down, i felt as if i couldn't even move no matter how hard i tried, but once i finally was able to move, i wake up fully nd i feel my heart pounding so hard, nd im breathing hard also...

one other night the same thing happened again, but this time i felt as if our snake was on the bed with me crawling and again i tried getting up but i again felt something holding me down, no matter how hard i tried, i felt forced down but when i woke up i immediately went to the snakes cage nd i saw it there nd the locks were on tight...
this has happened several times nd it has happened every other night but its basically always the same thing, i think i see or feel something nd i try moving or turning but i always feel forced down, one time i felt as if my neck was being held down but most of the times it had to do with me thinking i see my bf still in the room even though i know he left to work already, but i have no idea why this would be happening...i need ur opinion

after my first experience i kept a bible in my room and i started reading it, and it seemed that it wasnt going to happen again, but then it came back the next week...also someone told me that based on the snake being in my room it wasnt good?
wat would they have meant by that?
i did read that the serpent tricked eve into grabbing the apple, but does that have anything to do wit it?...

You are being held by fear!do not be scared take time and know that fear can kill ! try to get in to your dreams it takes practice but it can be done,if you ask it to leave it will !

This sounds like Sleep paralysis or "old hag syndrome". It is not extremely common, but it has been documented for ages. See the links below.

Demons are real and they can enter your house and torment you. I suggest talking to a pastor of a church. God is the only one who can make this go away.

This a phenomenon that occurs from time to time, not as often as you describe. You are referring to the origins of the old legends of succubus and incubi, where it feels as though you are pinned down by someone, scared and breathing heavily, I have experienced it myself, but only twice in my life so far. I dont know why you get them so often though......

Oh yeah, steer well clear of $cientologists , they are crackpots and will cost you alot of money to get involved with. I suggest reading about experiences of former members of $cientology before you even talk to a current member. They are a corporation who call themselves a religion for the purposes of tax evasion and were founded by a science fiction writer who is quoted as saying the quickest way to make alot of money is to create a religion. that alone should say it all.

i would suggest you find a church which is bible based right away and have them speak the word of God over you and pray for you. Keep reading the bible but you need Jesus in your heart for complete protection.

So many questions. First physical stuff --
1. Are you pregnant, by any chance? Pregnant women tend to experience
such things as night terrors slightly more often
than the general population.

2. Do you take high doses of supplements?
Particularly B vitamins? B-6 is know for
causing extremely vivid and unpleasant dream
s if taken in too high a quantity or too
late in the day.

3. Do you have a lot of stress, PARTICULARLY financial stress, in your life?
Dreams such as you describe frequently accompany financial stresses, because
you are "BOUND" by your financial obligations, and you know it.
Do all that you can to clear those obligations, and you will be less prone
to such terrors, as you will be "actively" working to free yourself.

4. Do you have a church family, OR Christian friends who can pray for you,
and your needs, and anoint you and/or your home and pray? If you do, ask them to do so.

5. Most human beings have a "built-in" aversion to the presence of "danger" and
while they are sleeping especially. One of my kids was having a horrible time
with chronic insomnia in his own apartment, but anytime he came home, he could
crash within minutes.

We tried a whole bunch of stuff over the course of the next year.. Lots of familiar stuff from home (including the
quilt off his bed, and his childhood teddy bear.)
New locks, earlier rising time, more morning sunshine,
Black out curtains, a new bed, more physical activity,
different sheets, new air filters on the vents and a/c, melatonin, valerian, tylenol p.m., a bunch of stuff.
Much of it worked a little bit --
nothing worked entirely or for very long!! Couldn't
figure it out.
Then, one day, he happened to mention (for the first time ever!!)
that his roomie was keeping their 14 foot "pet"
python's tank in my kid's room in the apartment..
My first comment was "NO WONDER YOU
CAN'T SLEEP!!!"
They moved the snake out of the room,
and he did much better.

6. How is your relationship with your bf? How does he treat your night terrors?
Is he adversarial to your recent interest
in the Bible and spiritual things? Have you been fighting a lot lately?
Have you been suspecting him of cheating or anything like that?
Anybody else giving you a whole lot of difficulty in life?

Reason I ask, is because your night terrors indicate the presence
of one OR MORE
someone(s)/something(s) that you perceive
as EXTREMELY "adversarial" to you in your own life.

You need to IDENTIFY those,
set about DECIDING what to do them,
and START doing it.
(Chronic procrastinators can also tend to
experience more night terrors and bad dreams.)

Edit: Forgot one -- have you had any "big" changes in your
circumstances lately? A big "downward" move, maybe
back home, or lost a job, lost a loved one, a friend, or
some combination?

Edit again:
Another thing -- have your thyroid checked as
well. Could be affecting your ability to sleep normally..

Not A joke.. A known medical phenomenon.

:) Seriously... A glass of chamomile tea will thwart your inner demons in this case.

It's normal being paralyzed when you're asleep or half asleep, it's how your are protected from enacting your dreams and possibly getting hurt.
It's also normal that you dream of your boyfriend even when he's away. And you seem to feel some normal affection toward your -somewhat weird- pet, that's why you dream of it laying in your bed (not sure if there could be a sexval meaning to it)
My suggestion (out of common sense only) is sell that pet and keep a dog instead, a Cocker Spaniel for example, that you can allow in your bed when your partner is out. Otherwise, keep some birds and clean and feed them before you go back to bed. That will make you feel good and help you restart your rest without disturbing thoughts.

this guys youtube videos might help you a little. You may be experiencing a leech entity who has an affinity with your spiritual energy.

so you have a bad dream and you think its the snake in your room?

how about you not eat those nachos before bed so you don't have bad dreams.

it is only a dream, bad ones happen now and then, its simply a reflection of life. has nothing to do with gods, demons, or any other fictional characters.

you could always consult a therapist.

Are you religious?

Dreams are a reflection of what you fill your head with during the day.

As an atheist I can walk round my house in complete darkness without feeling the slightest bit of fear, I feel sorry for people afflicted with superstition.
