What are you wanting to buy 2000 watt dual 4-ohm subs? I'd try to explain to you how power works, but most people just seem to take offense when I do that. Anyway, caps are a waste of time and money. Stay away from them. If you're going to spend that kind of money on something, upgrade your alternator and wiring. All a distribution block does is taking in your heavy gauge from the battery and give you multiple smaller gauge outputs to go into your amplifier. Your fuse needs to be as close to the battery as possible. Not in the back by the amplifiers. That's pointless. You can get as big of an amplifier as you want, but if you don't upgrade your car's electrical system, you'll never actually achieve those big numbers.

If your car has a 90 amp alternator and your car only used 30% of it, which is a very conservative estimate ... that leaves about 63 amps for the sound system. Alternators put out about 14.4 volts, so that's a total of 907 watts of available power. Assuming your amplifier is even 85% efficient, which is also pretty impressive ... that leaves you about 770 watts of power.

So, you can paint any number you want on the amplifier, you're still limited by the output of the alternator regardless. That's Physics. Nothing you can do about it.
