I need some advice on choosing a sport bike...?

I am looking to get a bike within the year. I know a little bit about them, but I not quite sure where to start. I am about 5' 8'' and I know some bikes are smaller than others. Is there a first time rider friendly bike out there? I don't want anything with too much power, but I want it to have some get up and go. Any advice or a good site with lots of info? Thanks!

yea the perfect one for u is 2007+ kawasaki ninja 250r. not too much power, great on gas and very good starter bike
