I've read through almost every other question related to this and none of them resolved my problem. I DO have a Firewire Port, with a FireWire cable. When i try to upload it into Windows Movie Maker it says that it didn't find a compatible video input device. I went through all of the Microsoft Help options with absolutely zero positive results. I have a Dell Inspiron 1521 Laptop running Windows Vista 32-Bit. Please Help!!!!!!
I tried it in playback mode and still nothing.
the help link http://www.camerahacker.com/DV/Capturing...
also didn't fix my problem.
I've also tried using different Apps to upload the video and still nothing.
i thought that it was kind of weird that the camera didn't come with any software or anything. Where would i go about getting this software it it requires any?
