You don't HAVE to do it that way. You can actually download it legally. Or you can buy an external cd drive. So, here are my instructions:
1. Stand up.
2. Walk to your car/door.
3. Drive/walk to the police department.
4. Ask them what happens if you download illegal games onto your computer.
5. Drive/walk to an electronics store.
6. Ask for external CD drive.
7. Buy it.
8. Buy the game.
9. Install.
If you actually own the game, I think it's legit enough to download it and just use your game's CD keys when you install it. First have bittorrent installed in your computer. It's best to fix your bittorrent's settings first for fast downloads. Download Sims 2 torrent at mininova.org or isohunt.com. Run bittorrent and 'Add' the torrent you want to download. Once you've fully downloaded the game, you'll either get a .RAR file or a folder with the ISO file(s) in it. If it's in RAR, have winRAR installed in your computer first then extract that file. A folder containing the ISO file(s) will come out. Now that you have the game's ISO(s), you'll have to mount that ISO in a virtual drive to install it. Daemon tools lite is that virtual drive. Have it installed in your computer. It's free anyway. Once installed, mount the ISO(s) of the game then install. Once installed, you'll be needing a crack for the game you've just downloaded in order to make it run on your computer. You can get this crack at gameburnworld.com. Place the crack in the directory where your game is installed. Enjoy the game.
