I got a 1996 Jeep Cherokee Country 4 Door ( dunno if that matters). It came with aftermarket speakers but idk what they are. I have a Pioneer DIII Super Tuner head unit. I'm not to interested in the bass aspect, i want the guitars to sound bad ass. I like band such as Parkway Drive, Within Temptation, etc. So set me up from there. With links if you got them. Thanks.

My system is pretty cheap but sounds good.

I have taken almost all the bass out of main speakers so they're freed up to play the higher stuff better.
You'll need a sub for that though or it wil sound crap
Hopefully your head unit has adjustable sub-out/rca-out so you can get the bass back to normal.
I also took the Mid down a little which seems to help with clarity at high volume.

Parkways latest is a poor quality recording so don't tune your system while playing that.
It's a great album though :D

You want the Mega Bass to be switched on, Loudness on, and if you can, put the preset to POP, because I find that rock sounds shit for metal.
