I just bought a 2010 Honda Civic. I want to replace the stock system, but I know nothing about car audio systems.

I'm looking to replace the 4 speakers and add an amplifier. I want good sound quality, with good bass, however, I'm not looking to blow the neighborhood up with heavy bass. I want something that is crisp and clean.

What do you recommend for speakers and amplifier and why?
For what I'm looking for, what type of amplifier should I buy? How many watts, and ect...
I'm not looking into buying a sub, but I want some good quality speakers to make up for that...

I'm looking to spend around 500-600 bucks plus install...
is that enough cash to spend for what I'm looking for?

how much are you wanting to spend? but i would go with a componet set in the front doors and 6x9 in the rear, jl amps because they have great repratation and clean power mb quart for componets and 6x9. previous user great clean sound, sub wise a jl 12w3 with a jl 300/1. going to spend some money but you get what you pay for.
