I phone restore: My iphone dropped into the water and I'm able to restore

it to the point where it's supposed? to restart. Then it loses it somehow and the i tunes sign comes on again and the window pops up on my laptop that says: "phone detected in recovery mode". Does anyone know how to fix this?
