I was brought up in a Christian family, as were my brother and sister. At the moment I am on holiday with my uncle and some friends who are not Christians and my brother is with me. Tonight they all came in drunk, including my brother who I thought was a Christian. When I asked him why he was drinking he said to make the pain go away. When I asked what pain he said the knowledge that everything we do is completely useless anyway. I really want to help him but I don't know how. Advice and prayers would be greatly appreciated.

It is unlikely that any advice or even prayers at this time will help your brother.He is well on his way to becoming an alcoholic unless he obtains some Christian counseling.You can have him contact me for guidance.
