or am I forgetting the T-1000 from T2, Agent Smith from Matrix....


its the voice, the costume,the fearsome music each time vader walked onto scene....marched rather, and the contrast of his shiny black costume to the white stormtroopers...made him stand out as the grand master of evil lol

although the T-1000 gives Darthy a run for his money in terms of scaryness.

Completely agree. The voice... the mask... the sheer menace of the dark lord's presence.

I saw Star Wars when it was first released. No publicity, no manipulation.

I came out of that theatre hating Darth Vader. I would have killed him if I could!

The most brilliantly realised 'baddie' of all time.
