I Suck at Fashion but Now i wanna be fashionable and look like a Girl, so help me,

whats in, whats not? Im a girl 18, and always been a tomboy and I dont dress good, I do wear makeup cuz im good at it and jewlery, Im from southern california.Tell me what to wear, what never to wear, What Stlyes and cloths that will always be in and what are some cloths that are Must haves, Gimme a List.
 
look on some websites at celebritys and what they wear casualy. here are some rules.

blue and green should never be seen (together)
never wear loads of different patterns together e.g checjed and stripy
only one part of your body at a time can be wearing bagy clothing e.g tight jeans with bagy shirt.
red and pink big mistake.

try wearing skinny jeanse or jeggings with a cute top. and dolly shoes (converses and etnies are in at the mo aswel) try getting boring things and spicing them up with hip/fashion belts and leg warmers ect

if you get stuck look in magazines and stuff
