Christian Skeptic, To answer your question "yes" there is. Mankind has created over three hundred gods and religions during our time walking this earth.
No gods have actually pinned nor dictated any of the writings that have been deemed by the church to have been divinely inspired.
 
I knew that the faith I was raised in was b.s. in my mid teens. I couldn't really practice my non-belief in that faith until I was out on my own. I was unfortunately raised in a rather strict, devout family that didn't give me much choice in churchgoing or religion while I was living with them.
 
Since God answers my prayers,especially when I pray for others rather than myself, I have evidence that "it is true" and that the words of the New Testament are divinely created.Since I was educated in what euphemistically are called "historic churches",the ones that do not teach and therefore do not expect the miraculous presence of Jesus now,not 2000 years ago,I completely understand and sympathize with those who have lost their faith,a situation that will insure that prayers will go unanswered. :lick ice:
 
Interesting. Since you "know [God] was made up", you must assert that he doesn't exist? Is there any evidence for this assertion?
