I threw up blood, is that normal?

Well yesterday I went and got a baby tooth pulled and a permanent tooth that was stuck up in my jaw pulled down. I was asleep when they did it, but after they did It I had so much blood in my mouth that I kept swallowing. I threw up about 15 times and half of that I threw up blood. Is that normal?
