I want to convert VHS to DVD but my DVDR is broken. Now what?

I purchased Roxio's VHS to DVD converter software but my computer with DVDR is broken. I'd rather not spend $200 on a VHS DVDR combo, but don't know if buying a DVDR for my other computer is worth it for a one time project. What now?
