I want to download videos found on youtube and put on a DVD... help!! V-DAY!?

Hi I need to download a series of videos and the only place I know to find them is on youtube. I have recently found I can download videos from youtube if I am on IE using realplayer and I think it saves them in an odd format starting with a p. pfg, png something I don't know

Anyway I want to put these videos on a DVD for somebody on Valentines Day... aaah my sweetheart I want to surprise him!!!! I love him!

Thanks any help appreciate like what software to use, etc. Thanks
