...and they don't have chips for vehicles that old...I've heard there are certain circuits that can do what chips do for newer cars...is this true? and where can I find them?
Chips are useless NEVER waste your money on one they simply trick the computer into providing a better fuel/air ratio. Simply buy a programmer which is less than a chip and can be used over and over again on many cars. But that will not work for your blazer if you want that to go faster put some lighter 0W-40 oil in, some new high performance transmission fluid (wolf's head will do), a k&n oil filter, and a cold air intake. The intake is the biggest thing as all you really need is a couple $5 hoses and a $50 high flow filter. Just slap them on there and you will get a good 20 horses. I know on my jeep I put on a new cold air intake and decreased my 0-60 by a whole 2 seconds. You could also put a high flow water pump on. They are expensive($200+) but well worth it in the long run.
