I have a bluetooth headset for a motorcycle helmet with 1 speaker, I also have a set of helmet speakers (which are just headphones made to mount in a helmet).
I would like to use both at the same time so I have the ability to answer calls or listen to mp3's but as it stands I have 2 devices and 3 speakers and there is only room for 2 speakers in the helmet.
I am thinking i could cut off the single speaker on the bluetooth headset and splice the wires into one side of the headphones to solve this problem.
If this works like I am thinking then I will be able to either make a call or listen to music as long as it's only one or the other and not both at the same time.
Will it cause any damage the units if they are operating at the same time? I realize that the sound would be distorted/unusable since there would be 2 different sources going into the same speaker, but would it hurt anything?
The only time this would happen is if someone calls me while i am listening to music.
