i was wondering if a pontiac gto a reliable car to have?

okay so i been wanting a gto since for ever i had a pontiac gtp and wasnt really reliable, so i heard that gto is a corvette engine so did pontiac make it or did chevy and i wanted a gto badly and my parents say that pontiac isnt reliable but i heard that gto is not made by pontiac but they just own it please...... help i want to know if gto is relaible car

Yes, i have a Pontiac g5 and ive had no problems with it so far.Its an '07
 
Depends on the year of the car. I owned a Pontiac GTO years ago for over 10 years and never had a problem with the car. The "key" is to ALWAYS keep the oil and filters changed properly and that needs to be done in whatever car you own.
