i was wondering if i could get more than one room for a cruise?

hi i wanted to take my mother father brother in law and sister on a cruise to the caribbean and i was wondering how would i go about getting like at least 2 rooms connected would i have to call the cruise line and work it out are could i do it online are find a local travel agent and also if i could get some tips on what to do while in the diffrent ports what excursions are the best and also what i should bring to wear and how much i should plan on spending thanks much appreciated.
