am sometimes paid on a 1099 and so? I work a full time job and use my vacation to work extra at other places. Sometimes I am paid on a 1099 and sometimes am W2 as a part-time. The work is only in addition to my full-time job and only on occasional weekends and weeks that I have taken vacation. Can I count mileage from these jobs on my taxes?
 
Not from your home to the work place or from one work place to another. If you have to travel to run errands or deliver goods or from one site to another that belongs to the same employer then your documentation must be meticulous but you can claim a deduction on your Federal taxes.
