Okay... so i have a kids Karate Class with kids 6-13 mixed together and we are trying to get a fun trip together in order to break up the seriousness in class each day. We were heading towards spring time, but I'd like to hear any ideas! We want to make sure the trip is safe, yet fun and appropiate for all ages. No amusement parks, please! thanks soooo much!

You could do a trip to the movie theater to see a martial arts themed movie or a movie that is stunt heavy. And then you present the class project of doing a demo at the next testing that is based off of that movie.

Eye of the Tiger presented a good idea; to avoid liability you should either have the movie viewing in your studio or have all students arrive at the movies with rides from their parents.

to be honest, I don't think its a good idea.
they are (well there parents more likely) are paying you to teach them karate...
not go on day trips.

Sorry if I sound a b@st@rd...
but I don't think its a good idea.

what about a movie day- watch either the old or new karate kid movies? that way you don't have to go anywhere (less paperwork and liability and you can easily supervise everyone.) Then have a potluck. Trust me going anywhere with a group of kids is HELL.
