...application to use a particular connection? I am working on an office PC connected to LAN through which i can access internet. But i do not want to access some sites from the office internet connection. For this purpose i have an external modem setup through which i can access internet. The problem is that i have to disconnect the LAN cable to force the browser to use internet connection from the modem. Is there a method to make the browser to use a particular connection while both connections are online?

Within any browser you can customize your internet connection like if you using Microsoft Internet Explorer you go to Tools menu in you can find Options Or Internet Options. In Internet Options you select Connection Tab.

Within connection Tab you can see Dialup and Virtual Private Networking Settings. If you using Modem you can see that Modem in White box.
Set it as a Default, check on "Always dial my default connection" if you want to use it.

If you don't want to use it then you just click on "Never Dial a Connection".

Hope this will solve your problem.
