When you both dont have any answers. Like in ireland we say 'just drill a couple of them holes and you find nothing'

So what's the point?
sirensong,
Religious people say god did it and atheists say it just happened which is equally damn silly right?

The problem I have with creationists is not that they say that God did it. I have no issues with that.

I do, however, have issues with people who state "not only did God do it, but he did it this particular way despite evidence to the contrary." I am of the sincere opinion that any God worth following would have skipped past the create-everything-all-at-once-on separate-days option and done something elegant, like create a system whereby life can constantly adapt to the changing needs of its environment.

I think creationists are merely the believers who God would put through remedial courses, if he could.

I don't know of any who say it 'just happened' - instead, all I know of ascribe to one of the theories as most likely. The point is, science doesn't say "This is the way it happened, end of discussion"...that's the creationists' way. Science says "This is what we think happened based on available information, but we're still looking into it."

Because creationists have no evidence, yet usually claim that they are absolutely certain they are correct.

"Religious people say god did it and atheists say it just happened which is equally damn silly right?" No, I do not say that it just happened. I say that we have yet to figure it out -- there is a big difference.
