...the same boat? Like John Edwards, he cheated on his wife while they had cancer. It's wrong in both cases.
Shovel Ready-Well, he did have all those fines from when he was speaker.

Newt did not lie about it under oath as Clinton did.
Newt also did not use campaign funds (against the law) or lie about "knowledge" of the affair or using campaign funds to pay off the slut he had an affair with.
Newt chose to keep his private life private and did not lie or break the law to conceal his "sins."
I do not condone or endorse that behavior in any of the 3 cases, but Newt handled his situation with class and respect. I would think that you would have had the wisdom and foresight to recognize this before lumping him in with 2 of the most disgusting politicians in our nation's history!
